The Aphrodite Kingdom stretched far and wide throughout the valley, many travelers passed through the Aphrodite Kingdom it was always full of people, yet somehow it still felt lonely… Alienora woke up in a hurry breathing heavily, Gwen (the maid) approached her “oh my! Princess are you okay?” - Gwen jumped to her side. “Don’t worry Gwen it was just a nightmare” she looked at Gwen and smiled at her ヾ(＠＾▽＾＠)ﾉ. Alienora mumbled under her breath “although it felt so real”..

“What was that princess?” Gwen looked confused.

“Don’t worry about it” Alienora began to climb off her bed to put her attire on.*GWEN!* Someone from the other side of the castle called her name. Gwen strolled off in a rush to the person that was calling her. Her mother came wandering in. “Ah, awake early I see” She beamed at Alienora. 

“Morning mother” Alienora smiled.

Alienora’s mother started opening the curtains and the window. The glistening sun shone inside her room. “Anyway I’ll leave you alone to carry on with the day. She started strolling away.

Today for free writing I used my imagination to come up with a story. Our task was to do choice writing and I came up with this. I found this task pretty easy. Next time I would try and finish it.

           Free Writing - Genius hour

Today on another Monday Mia and I are doing our genius hour. We thought about what to do a genius hour and we chose to do Northern lights!!!. Here's a random fact -  The airy glow comes from collisions between fast moving electrons from the magnetosphere (the region of space controlled by Earth’s magnetic field). Electrons transfer some of their energy to these molecules (A group of atoms bonded together/the smallest particles that can ever exist.) when they collide; this transfer of energy is said to “excite” them. An excited molecule eventually returns to its non-excited state by releasing photons(A particle representing a quantum of light or light particles). Large numbers of these collisions create enough light for us to see. You will be able to see more in my next blog post about the actual slide :D.

In the weekend I invited my friend over for a sleepover. I called her twice but she didn't answer because she thought it was her other friend Angel that kept on spamming her phone and so she thought that angel was the one calling her so she didn't answer. After I gave up I just sat on the couch and then Mia arrived. I'm actually not sure how she got there but It's fine!. We raced towards my bigger lounge and we tried to find out a layout for the hut. After we decided a layout we got my older sister Malia to help us build the hut. We finally finished and then started setting up our sleeping areas. After we did that we went to play a game and then went to go watch videos and then sleep.

                    Building The Garden

In the Holidays me , my sister and my Mum decided to make a small garden with vegetables like Cherry tomatoes and Kale. We also thought of putting some flowers at the back of the garden. My mum started getting rid of all the wandering dew on the small hill by the entrance to our door. Our dog Aja tried to help our mum get rid of all the wandering dew on the hill and she started digging and jumping around in circles. I started pulling out the leaves and stuff that wasn't supposed to be in the garden out. Just as mum finished pulling out the wandering dew out of the hill it made a large stack of it in a pile. My sister then took Aja for a walk and then when she got back Aja stared right at Lily (our cat) as Lily hissed at her Aja then poked her nose towards her as Lily was about to smack her and missed. I made sure Lily and Aja was okay and then carried on gardening.

For a few weeks our class has been drawing bees and then turning them into foam bees. I'm still working on my drawing of a bee and trying to add lots of detail so that then it's easier to cut out and turn it into foam. Drawing bees is really fun but 1 of my friends is struggling to draw one so I'm trying to help her. I have nearly finished my bee drawing and can't wait to turn it into foam even tho it will be hard. The easiest part about this is probably drawing the bee and then it gets a lot harder.

We both wrote names we thought would be nice I wrote Hazel for a name and she did Sage. We are starting on the actual writing now and using the planning to write it.

On Wednesday  30th of July my class and I did our speeches we basically had to stand in front of our class with notes to read off or a Chromebook to read off. We also got given pieces of paper that we had to mark in pairs of 2. My partner for marking was Mia and we rated who was the best with the clearest voice and loudest. Before it was my turn I felt butterfly's in my tummy .When it was my turn I was shaking but then I felt confidence to say my speech I tried to be loud and clear with my voice and stand straight looking down at my notes every once and a while. After my speech I felt great because I didn't have butterfly's in my tummy anymore. I really enjoyed my speech but I don't think I have enough confidence yet to say it in front of the whole school.

On Friday after school me and my mum drove up to the college to give my older sister her bag to hop on the bus and go to Russel to stay at her dads. After the bell rang my mother quickly ran up to the gate with her bag handing it to her as my older sister rushed to the bus. When me and my mother got home we walked into our house and Zeus (my dog) immediately jumped up to say hello and then bounced down again. After that I took out my lunchbox threw away the rubbish and then cleaned inside the containers.

- Saturday Night
On Saturday Night I was hanging out with my mum while we tried to choose a movie to watch. We were gonna watch survivor but turns out it wasn't on the channel on the computer she chose. As we couldn't find it my mum asked me if I knew what this game was (I forgot the name of it) I answered no because I didn't know what it was. After that she taught me how to play the game of course she won. And then after the game that was a hour long I had to go to sleep because we had to go pick up my older sister from the Paihia ferry.

                       Free Writing - MT Maunganui 

Last Monday on the holidays I went to MT Maunganui with my dad , step sisters and my step mother. Once we finally arrived from the at least 8-9 hour drive we went to this huge hotel that my dad booked for us all. The hotel room we stayed in had downstairs and upstairs the downstairs had 2 rooms and a bathroom the 1st room had a bunk bed and one draw. The 2nd room had a queen bed and a bunch of closets even a balcony but obviously the oldest one got that room. Upstairs had a beautiful lounge with a tv balcony and the tv even had Netflix on it. Then we had a normal kitchen and dining room also a normal bathroom. Then the huge master bedroom for my dad and my step mother. After we looked around we got a call from my brother (Jayden) and my older sister (Tessa) with her husband (Scot). After they came upstairs we all talked and played games.  After we had to head back up north I wanted to see my mum but also wanted to see all my other brothers I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Then we drove back up north and my dad dropped my off and my mums house.

                               Facts About Cougars

The cougar is actually the second largest cat in North America. Unlike other big cats the cougar cannot roar. Instead the cougar purrs like a house cat. Cougars also have a similar body to types of house cats only on a larger scale. The coat of the cougar is a greyish tan to a reddish colour with lighter parts on the underside. The tail has a black spot at the end. Mostly cougars prey on deer but feed on smaller animals if necessary.  Cougars have even been known to eat insects. Skilled hunters cougars stay hidden from their prey until they can pounce with claws out stretched. Cougars can also climb with ease and leap over 6 m (20 ft).

A healthy cougar can live up to around 10 years of age. In captivity cougars can live as long as 20 years.

                                            My Weekend ^-^ 

                        Another normal weekend except a bit funner I guess?. This cold weekend I went on one of my favourite games again (Roblox). There was a game named Bloxburg (on the roblox site) and it was also one of my favourite games because you could build houses or anything you liked but I actually followed a tutorial on yt (Youtube) to make a pretty cool mountain house that had a lot of details. Just as I was about to add a piece of furniture to my house the power shut off and I wasn't able to play it anymore So me and Malia went to mums room and just talked to her while we waited for the power to come back. We also played with our puppy Aja the cute little black and white pup aka (Our dog).

On Sunday Malia and my Mum (Tracey) were making muffins as I played with my online friends Malias friend joined and said could you tell Malia to call me and I replied yup as I told Malia. I also gave her a lot of stuff on that game that i had doubles of.


That is the end of my Weekend!.

                                  My Weekend (Once again)

On Friday after mufti day we started going home and straight as we got home we emptied  our lunch boxes and threw the rubbish in the bin. Malia (My sister) and I started playing on our computers and played roblox. Finally on Saturday mum had a bunch of clothes I had to decide if I wanted them or not but most of them looked nice so i decide that i liked them. 

My draws were super full of clothes that I didn't need or want so me and my mum started tidying up the draws it took like 1-2 hours to empty just 2 draws I still have many more draws to tidy so i'm gonna do that this week. Just as I and my mum finished we saw Jahesha (My sisters friend) sitting out there talking to Malia (My sister).

                                        My Holidays

In my holiday's me and my sister Malia invited my friend/her friend to come over and hangout. Mia came over late afternoon about 6:00. We played on this game named Roblox (Roblox is a game were you can make friends and play millions of games) and on Roblox they was one game me,Malia and Mia really liked so she played on the ipad and we played on the computers. The game that we played was called Flee The Facility (Its basically when you get a role its either Beast or survivor and if your a beast you have to try and capture all the survivors and if your a survivor your goal is to hack 5 computers and exit without getting caught). We played Flee The Facility so much and laughed really loudly cause of how fun the game was.

On Saturday we had to clean our dusty shelf's."I BAGS THIS SHELF!" Malia yelled of course she got the mantelpiece that wasn't even hard to tidy. I got the hard shelf that i had to stand on to reach all the dust. After we finished cleaning the shelf's Malia and Mia went on a walk with our dogs Aja and Zeus (Our hunting dogs) to a grassy park. 

On Sunday unfortunately Mia had to go home at 4:00 but before she left we all went for a walk to the shops and got some lollies and a drink each.  When we finally got home Malia made some noodles for us all to have just before she left.

                                       Fictional Story The Wolf Girl

 

Once upon a time there was a girl that was raised by wolves because her parents left her in the forest when she just was a baby. As she grew up she started acting like a wolf and did a lot of things like a wolf. Until ... one day she realised that she was half wolf and she saw a lot of humans and wanted to be more like them. "Hey mum can i be more like them?" she said as she helplessly stared at them "Sure i guess but just don't get hurt" she replied. Jess (The half wolf girl) jumped in joy and ran towards the school. 

A year later she started going to a school  but people didn't like her that much but this one boy was super curious and kept on following her behind the school "Stop following me its getting super annoying!" she shouted "Why its funny cause you keep on getting annoyed" he replied laughing she got so annoyed and scratched his face with her sharp wolf claws.

                                           Wolves Facts

Wolves are the largest of the dog family and female full grown wolves can weigh up to 23-53 kg!. Many of wolves live in Alaska, Canada and even Asia. A wolf pack is basically just a big family of wolves in wolf packs there is a Alpha male and a Alpha female. Alpha males lead the hunt while the other wolves just chase behind and try catch they're prey. A alpha male and the alpha female dominate the pack and are in charge. They is also a lot of other names for the other wolves in the pack like beta- (are highly thought of wolves that help lead the hunts with the alpha) Selsa- (lower of lesser than betas) delta- (a lesser wolf but the most dominate of the under ranking wolves) and much more.

Wolves can have many different fur colours like grey,black,white,brown,blonde,silver and even reddish/orange. Wolves are famous because of they're beautiful majestic howls that they use to communicate with. Wolves mostly find a pack and then leave it to find a higher rank but sometimes its hard being a lone wolf.

Every Monday morning we get to write about anything we want to and i am going to write about the Christchurch shooting.

This Friday a very sad thing happend in Christchurch. It has been a tragity for everyone in new Zealand especially family's. You shouldn't hurt people just because they look different, sound different, Have a different opinion then you. I am disgusted with the behaviour that happend in Christchurch and I feel very bad for what happend to those family's. In my opinion again i think you should be kind to others and even if they are different then you that does not mean you hurt them or bully them. 

As you may have already known New Zealand is supous to be a safe country away from all the war and stuff like that. I hope everyone in Christchurch is safe now. Remember not to judge people by what they look like and every single differences it doesn't matter you are all equal everyone loves you no matter what you look like or sound like. 

And the best thing about you is to be different then everyone else. I really didn't like what happend in Christchurch and hopefully this will never happen again.

                                Another Weekend!

This weekend it was my mums birthday!. For my mums birthday we just stayed at home and mum invited her friends over. Her friend's had 2 kids and I had to babysit them because my sister was lazy she just stayed in her room letting me handle them. The kids were a lot of trouble so i just let them play mine craft while i went on my computer and played with Mia online.

When i was texting Mia online the little kids started annoying me so i shouted to my sister "I NEED HELP!" she didn't respond and i still had to handle the little kids by myself. Then i went outside and hanged out with my mum for a second and then went back inside.

This is my free writing of my weekend. Free writing is writing that we do every day on Monday but i was absent on Monday so i did it today.

                                  My Weekend!

This weekend i went to my friends house called Nicole. My mum drove to Opua in a car with me my sister and our dog Zues. When we got to Opua we hopped on the ferry to go over to Russel. Then when we got dropped off at Russel we walked up this pathway that leaded us up to Nicole's house. When we were there we were running around her backyard with Zeus and playing with Nicole on the trampoline. 

Then on Saturday we went to Nicole's paddock where she kept all her horses. Nicole strapped on the saddle and put on the bridle (And all the other horse gear). She had a horse named Noodle and she would grab the lead and pull her into the paddock. Once Noodle was into the paddock Nicole redid around the paddock and then after her i did but it was my first time so i got leaded around the paddock.

Then on Sunday we went back on the ferry and back to our house. That was a super fun weekend.

On the weekend my friend named Mia came over to hang out with me my sister and my sisters friend. My sister and her friend were playing on the computers so Mia and i were playing on the ps3 then after my sister and her friend stopped playing on the computer we played this 4 player game in the 4 player game we put each other into a team and try to survive from the water but they were sharks that would come up and try to knock us off. On Saturday night we played spotlight and we also had a chance to pick a team mate. I picked my sisters friend and Mia picked my sister. 

Me and my sisters friend had a good strategy and tried to run to the car when they looked the other way with the light. Unfortunately i got caught because of the bushes at our house. After spotlight we went back inside and Mia and my sister said something funny so i started laughing and i couldn't stop. Then Mia started laughing and couldn't stop but i stopped laughing when she did.
Then on Sunday me and Mia just carried on playing on the ps3 and my sister and her friend still on the computer. 

The weekend was super fun and funny and i enjoyed spending lots of time with my friend my sister and my sisters friend.
